The Social Committee at the Harvard Medical Postdoctoral Association (HMPA) aims to foster connection and community among postdoctoral fellows by organizing engaging social events in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Through a diverse range of activities—from arts and crafts sessions to happy hours and movie nights—the committee creates opportunities for postdocs to unwind, meet new colleagues, and build meaningful connections beyond the lab. Its primary goal is to cultivate a supportive space where postdocs can enjoy campus life while strengthening their professional and social networks.
