Manjari Trivedi

"Manjari studies the role of inflammation in liver regeneration in zebrafish. Zebrafish liver and immune system are similar to humans', making a great model to study human liver diseases. She is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr Wolfram Goessling's lab at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.

She obtained her PhD from Imperial College London, UK, in Dr Wei Cui's lab, where she studied the TGF-beta protein signaling pathway in human embryonic stem cells.

Manjari is currently the social committee co-chair and hopes to bring fun social activities to the Harvard postdoc community where they can relax and make new friends.

In her free time, she likes to cycle around Boston, swim, dance, or listen to a podcast."
