Session Description:  This workshop will support mentors in assessing their mentees’ understanding of core concepts and processes.
In exploring potential reasons for a lack of understanding, mentors will discuss multiple strategies to enhance and improve learning.
*This session is required to obtain a certificate of completion for the mentor series.
Series Description: The Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center CURE Program and UMass Boston Research Education Core Program, in collaboration with the HMS/HSDM Office of Postdoctoral Fellows, are offering a series of mentor training workshops focused on mentorship development and shared practice for current, past, and prospective mentors. Our sessions are founded on evidence-based curriculum published by CIMER as well as our own 20-year experience in the space of student training.
Training is focused on:

- Effective Communication
- Inclusive Mentoring
