The Center for Skeletal Research is a great community of primarily Boston-based musculoskeletal researchers at all levels of experience. Their annual symposium (this year in Cambridge) is free and all abstracts are accepted for posters. It is an excellent networking opportunity for young investigators/trainees and there is specific programming and a social catered to trainees at the symposium this year.
