Dr. Arjun Sharma is Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Harvard Medical Postdoctoral Association (HMPA) at Harvard Medical School. He is a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA T32 Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Blood Coagulation and Vascular Biology Program at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where his research focuses on vascular biology, thrombosis, and inflammatory signaling in sepsis.

Beyond his scientific work, Dr. Sharma is actively involved in sports leadership, managing professional cricket operations across the Northeast region of the United States. He is passionate about mentoring, science communication, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across research, leadership, and community initiatives.

Through his role in HMPA, Dr. Sharma designs impactful professional development programs that support postdoctoral scientists in career advancement, leadership growth, and transitions across academia and industry. He is committed to building an inclusive, collaborative, and forward-looking postdoctoral community across HMS-affiliated institutions.
