In exploring potential reasons for a lack of understanding, mentors will discuss multiple strategies to enhance and improve learning. **\****This session is required to obtain a certificate of completion for the mentor series.* **Series Description:** The Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center CURE Program and UMass Boston Research Education Core Program, in collaboration with the HMS/HSDM Office of Postdoctoral Fellows, are offering a series of mentor training workshops focused on mentorship development and shared practice for current, past, and prospective mentors. Our sessions are founded on evidence-based curriculum published by CIMER as well as our own 20-year experience in the space of student training. Training is focused on: \- Exploring Mentorship \- Effective Communication \- Inclusive Mentoring **Additional Workshops in the series:** *This series is organized and hosted by Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center CURE Program and UMass Boston Research Education Core Program.
