Are you looking to share your in-progress research, discover new techniques, and spark cross-departmental collaborations? The HMPA Professional Development Committee is thrilled to announce the first-ever **Postdoc Spotlight Blitz**!

This in-person event serves as a "**collaboration matchmaker**," giving HMS-affiliated postdocs a platform to present high-energy, 3-minute flash talks. It is a fantastic opportunity to practice pitching your research to a broad audience, build your CV, and connect directly with peers outside your immediate lab, department, or hospital.

**The Details:**

- **When:** Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- **Where:** TMEC Amphitheater (Tosteson Medical Education Center, 260 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA)
- **Format:** A two-hour in-person session featuring 10 back-to-back flash talks on stage, followed by an open Q&A and a networking mixer to discuss potential collaborations.
- **Prizes:** The HMPA judging panel will evaluate the presentations, and the top 3 speakers will receive official HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows (OPF)-backed certificates and win cinema vouchers for a movie outing!

Because this event is designed to spark connections, your submission will include a brief "**Collaboration Ask and Offer**." Think of this as a conversation starter: what knowledge or technical expertise are you curious to learn, and what methods would you be happy to discuss with peers?

**Deadline to submit:** Sunday, August 16th, 2026 (11:59 pm EST).
